LIANG Jie, was born in Longxing Town of Xinjiang County in Yuncheng City, Shanxi Province. He graduated from Hubei Institute of Applied Science and Technology in September 2000 with a bachelor's degree. He is currently a member of the Lacquerware Professional Committee of China Arts and Crafts Association, and a master of Yuncheng Arts and Crafts. He is a Hedong craftsman, and the  general manager of Xinjiang County Datang Yundiao Lacquer Art Factory.

LIANG Jie shows his love for lacquerware craftsmanship and a spirit of diligence. After more than ten years of arduous exploration, he has mastered the complete production process of the highly difficult special lacquer art --- "Tixi". In order to protect the craft of Tixi, he insisted on using ancient methods to boil lacquer and strictly abide by the lacquer making process, especially when other lacquerware generally use cheap chemical paint as the main material in the market, he still insists on using lacquer as the main material. The main material protects the pure technique of this craft. His Datang Yundiao Lacquer Art Factory mainly produces and sells Yundiao furniture and lacquer crafts. Operating income in 2018 was 5.69 million yuan.

The core of the vitality of artworks is innovation. In response to the serious lag in product innovation and design, LIANG Jie gave full play to his artistic talents, integrating modern design concepts into ancient craft designs, and creating a large number of brand-new design drawings, which greatly enriched the Tixi patterns. His cloud-carved lacquerware have participated in many domestic and international lacquer art exhibitions, and have been collected by many art galleries.

Over the years, LIANG Jie has been exploring and researching carving designs and has won countless awards. In March 2019, his cloud sculpture "Lotus Pattern Big Tea Terrace" won the gold medal in the "Golden Phoenix" Innovative Work Design Competition at the 54th National Crafts Fair.
